Hrastovi su simbol dugovečnosti, snage i stabilnosti, i predstavljaju najprepoznatljivije vrste u našim šumskim i urbanim ekosistemima. Oni pružaju dragoceno stanište i hranu za stotine biljnih i životinjskih vrsta, čineći osnovu šumskog biodiverziteta i stabilnosti prirode.
